Food Pantry
First Baptist Church’s food pantry has operated successfully for years with an established financial means. At this time, we cannot purchase enough food in bulk to sustain the pantry because grocery stores do not have cases of food items regularly available. Residents are stepping forward with individual donations to support the pantry during this time.
If you would like to support the pantry, donations can be delivered to the church on Tues. and Thurs. weekly between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Should you not be able to come at these times, there is a tub by the parking lot door where you can place non-perishable goods.
Items to consider: shelf-stable milk, canned vegetables, fruits & meals, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, jelly, mac and cheese, canned soup, cereal, rice, oatmeal, canned chicken, tuna, luncheon meat & Vienna sausages, pancake mix & syrup, toilet paper, hygiene products, brownie mix, and drink boxes.
Thank you for helping to feed an average of 250-300 people weekly (approximately 75 are children) in the Moorestown neighborhood and surrounding areas!
The Food Pantry
The FBCM Food Pantry began as a small folding table holding a few non-perishable items in the church lounge. Since then it has grown into a multi-room operation, feeding 250 to 300 people weekly. Our dedicated volunteer staff work tirelessly collecting donations, stocking and restocking shelves, and greeting guests each week. It truly is a ministry of service to the community.
Each third Sunday of the month is "Food Pantry Sunday" at our church, where congregants and friends bring food and give monetary donations as well as gift cards for BJ's and/or Aldi to support the Pantry.
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday: 11:30 am- 1:30 pm, 5:30pm-7:00pm
Thursday: 11:30 am- 1:30 pm
