Mission & Outreach covers a wide range of issues, causes, and concerns beyond the walls of First Baptist Church of Moorestown.
The work and priorities of the ministry team are guided by Jesus' teaching; helping the poor, oppressed, and marginalized in our society...or, "the least of these."
The team takes responsibility for encouraging support for a variety of organizations within and outside the family of American Baptists. We also promote participation in important efforts for peace and justice in our world.
Each month of the year, members of the congregation will be made more aware of a different specific mission and invited, if they so choose, to contribute money (or, in a few instances, donate needed products) in support of that collection, project, or organization. Take a look at the 'who' organization list to see some of the ministries we currently support!
