Qmunity LGBTQIA+
Back in 2016, a small but mighty group of around 15 LGBTQIA+ folks and allies kicked off Qmunity, coming together monthly to share stories, eat (we love our food), plan upcoming events, and lift each other spiritually and socially. Fast forward to today, we've ballooned to a crew of 40 and counting. Throughout the year we coordinate book groups, movie nights, barbecues, social outings, or last-minute get-togethers just to enjoy each other’s company. Our Qmunity members serve in various roles at FBCM, from Staff to Leadership to Ministry Circles. We usually meet on the 4th Sunday of every month, and we would LOVE for you to join us. Our Purpose Statement
Our LGBTQIA+ Ministry Circle (Qmunity) at FBCM believes that support, outreach, and advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community are part of our call to “do justice and love mercy” (Micah 6:8). We will respond to this call by providing spiritual and social support to one another, and by connecting with others of faith in the LGBTQIA+ community. We, as Queer voices of faith, will continue to work in our church, region, denomination, larger Church body, and beyond for equality and justice for all God’s people- especially those who have left or been kicked out of the Church, or have never been shown that God loves them just as they are, no matter what!

- Hosted and co-organized Transgender Day of Remembrance Services
- Made soup for FBCM's Food Pantry
- Hosted a "Say Gay" Pride Dance and raised money for local Queer youth
- Participated in Philly, South Jersey, Haddon Heights, and Moorestown Pride Festivals
- Day at the lake with kayaking and a barbecue
- Multiple trips to Escape the Room
- Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Union Pride Nights
- Participated in coat drive for a local women's shelter
- Day trip to see The Prom on Broadway

- My child is part of the Queer Community but I am not. Am I welcome? YES! We love our allies & you won't be alone!
- Where and when are your monthly meetings and how do I get more info? Our monthly meetings are usually held the 4th Sunday of each month at Pastor Jen & Sandy's home in Moorestown.
